I genuinely am starting to think my expectations are too high here!
My luggage was damaged very badly on Thursday. A brand new case looks like it has been slashed with a knife and side caved in.
So I went to customer services and filled in a form. I was offered a new case there and then, but the new case was larger and mine is regulation carry on size.
I had to phone up about the case, to a company Air France use. They will collect my case from home and assess it. It will then be repaired or replaced.
My problem is it will be replaced with a similar case, not the same. So even though my case is new, I have the receipt and the case is in stock I am told I have accept what they give me.
My view is that none of this is my fault. I have had to spend time trying to sort it out, I have been inconvenienced. Or am I just supposed to take it on the chin?
