So, friend of mine started selling Tropic stuff about 6 months ago. I’ve tried several probably rubbish excuses as to why I’m not buying it, (still using up lots of stuff, skint this month, OH has just surprised me etc) she’s still pushing.
The gods honest truth is that it’s taken me years to find out what I like best out of every product in my regime. I like my Chanel toner, my Bobbi Brown moisturiser, I recently discovered a Mac foundation that can withstand the tube on my greasy skin. I like going to department stores and looking at yummy things, it makes me feel good when I have a little bit of a me day. I tried a few of her things, didn’t like the smell/texture but didn’t want to tell her straight. Now I’ve dug myself a big hole.
She is still ramming this at me every time she sees me. Soon I will just have to say stop talking about it, I don’t want to buy it, I’ve tried polite excuses but you have the sensitivity of a rhino.
Has anyone found a polite way of stopping their friends selling at them every time they see them? I know there’s been threads on here before but could find them.
