To ask how much cocaine would you buy for £600

And how 'immune' to it would you be to use it all in 3 nights?
Or is he snorting flour?
Apparently it has 'no effect' apart from to make him feel a little relaxed.
Also how addictive is it?
It's my ex and I don't give a shit, he can rot, I'm just curious.

The only other person who I knew who did coke just appeared normal but talked incessantly. I know some do it to keep them awake while they're out at night.
This is, as far as I know, a new thing for the gobsheen.

Oh and the stories vary from 'I didn't buy it, it was offered to me', to 'I'm skint, I spent 600 over three days'. He's a pathological liar at the best of times.

Very easy to become addicted and once he is then too won't last long. In 3 nights he could get through that. What an idiot he is. Seems you are far better off without him

7Seas · 09/12/2017 03:03

Predictive text above. I mean 600 won't last long

ShirleyPhallus · 09/12/2017 03:03

About 4 grams I reckon. It wouldn’t make him feel relaxed at all but if he’s a regular / heavy drug user would make him feel comfortable and chatty and happy. For an irregular user that much over a few days would send them seriously off-kilter

What have you to gain for looking in to this though? If he’s your ex why is it an issue?

ShirleyPhallus · 09/12/2017 03:04

Sorry, that 4 should have said 8!!!

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/12/2017 03:05

Cocaine isn't particularly physically addictive but it is massively psychologically addictive. The talking incessantly is because they feel like they are really clever and right and awesome and really get it and everything is really important

600 quid is a crap tonne in three nights but he's probably sharing? And doing it over three nights means he REALLY likes it. Binges are a bad sign. Everything is cut a lot by the time it reaches the UK. So he is snorting baby powder or baking soda or something. But also cocaine.

Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:06

Oh he's an idiot of the highest order. So fucking arrogant on the phone. Stupid prick. He got about 3 grand tax back a couple of months ago and now thinks he's the man about town. Fucking idiot. He only earns 600 a week, so it won't be long until he lands on his arse the arsehole.
It was an ex-friend of mine who earned twice as much as me who used to do coke. She robbed me blind.

It's his life. Fuck him.

As I said, I'm more curious than anything. We only split up a month ago and he's gone haywire since it appears. Contact was because I was in hospital and needed him to bring me some things. But now he's superman and I can fuck off from annoying him. Seems to multiply his arsehole-ness.

OP posts:
YerAWizardHarry · 09/12/2017 03:10

Around 8 grams here too. If he's sharing it wouldn't last long over the course of 3 nights. If he's used to it it likely just makes him more chatty and alert. Many claim that the cocaine mellows them out and stops them getting too drunk

Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:16

The grams thing makes no sense to me unfortunately as I don't know how much of a gram you would take over a night.

OP posts:
Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:18

If I'm honest, the bitterness in me wants to see him rot. I don't feel charitable at all tonight.

Wow what a pleasant thread Hmm

user1471446151 · 09/12/2017 03:26

£50 a gram most places so 12 grams for £600 in 3 nights, I’m in London and that’s what the price is mostly. I work in late night hospitality and it is rife. Most people seem to be able to drink more so I’d guess he went for a gram and a half to 2 a night and the rest on drinks or buying bottles of champagne or rounds for everything be to be billy big balls if he was out at a bar/club to show off as people on coke seem to think they’re gods gift
So prob £100 night on coke £100 on drinks over the 3 nights

user1471446151 · 09/12/2017 03:28

Or to be fair someplace are easy to spend £100 on drinks yourself if you’re looking at £13 for doubles £8 for beer and £20 for cocktails. So £100 drugs £100 drink per night is pretty easy to hit

YerAWizardHarry · 09/12/2017 03:28

Depends where you are - £80-£100 a gram where I am

Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:29

User - I suspect he was being Billy big balls at a bar alright. God help the next victim!

OP posts:
user1471446151 · 09/12/2017 03:30

I suspect if Tor paying £80-£100 that would be of better quality than the £50 and not cut as much

YerAWizardHarry · 09/12/2017 03:30

Most people would take around a gram, 1.5 on a night out if they use regularly

Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:31

Zeelove - what do you mean? That I should be trying to rescue the abusive prick and get him into rehab? As he said himself, he's none of my business anymore.
I don't do drugs so don't understand it. I do want to see him fall off his superman pedestal though.

OP posts:
Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:33

I suspect he's doing it all day long. Or he certainly seemed abnormal when on the phone yesterday. He said he's missing days drinking and then tells me about the coke. I hope he lands on his hairy arse and hurts himself badly.

Bitter.

OP posts:
Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:35

TBH, it could have been 60 he spent. I don't believe a word out of his mouth. This all came about because he is looking for accommodation and I suggested with what he's earning he could afford a double room, then the coke confession came out. Idiot.

OP posts:
Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:36

Why he decided to tell me, I do not know.

OP posts:
araiwa · 09/12/2017 03:48

If he spent 600 all on coke and did the lot, hes probably about to have a heart attack

Whoyagonna · 09/12/2017 03:58

Well, as he politely informed me, 'fuck off, I'm not your problem'.
