I've just had a crisp sandwich. The only ones we had in the house were BBQ Transformers.

Between 2 slices of buttered bread with a squirt of mayo. Oh. My. God. Food if the gods.

How on Earth have I not had one of these until now!

AIBU to eat these for the remainder of December?

Peanut butter and hula hoops in a white roll.

KinkyAfro · 08/12/2017 18:19

Tuna and salad cream topped with c&o squares. The. Best.

LadyB49 · 08/12/2017 18:19

Tayto cheese n' onion from the north, Knutty Krust sliced batch loaf, real butter and thinly sliced apple. Decent strong tea.

I find ready salted crisps add an extra something to tuna mayo sandwiches and also love salt and vinegar with cheese spread. Can't beat a crisp sandwich although I'm not sure about transformers!

Pawpainting · 08/12/2017 18:24

The only crisps suitable for a sandwich are cheese and onion, preferably tayto or king. Real butter or a bit of mayo (sometimes even both). Gorgeous

Pawpainting · 08/12/2017 18:25

Also adding crisps to a cheese toastie after it's been toasted really bring it up a level !

GerdaLovesLili · 08/12/2017 18:34

You are all wrong.
Squashy no-nutritional-value white bread
Primula cheese
Seabrooks cheese and onion. NOT crinkle cut.
Mayonnaise.
Halo

Walkers cheese and onion, butter, and salad cream between two slices of white bread.

Oncemorewithlessfeeling · 08/12/2017 19:23

White bread and frazzles. Or grated cheddar and skips.

wombatron · 08/12/2017 20:38

McCoys Salt and Vinegar and Strawberry Jam!!

Also works with pickled onion monster munch, but McCoy’s salt and vinegar is just the best!!!

Someaddedsugar · 10/12/2017 12:35

@wombatron I totally agree!!

DoubleNegativePanda - don't knock till you've tried it!

I love Brennan's bread, Tayto cheese and onion (southern - used to live across the road from the factory when it was in Dublin) and plastic cheese. Yum. And I can have one next weekend when I go to stay with my Dad.

Fish finger sandwiches are yum too.
