I've just had a crisp sandwich. The only ones we had in the house were BBQ Transformers.

Between 2 slices of buttered bread with a squirt of mayo. Oh. My. God. Food if the gods.

How on Earth have I not had one of these until now!

Best crisp sandwiches must be on fresh white bread and have either dairylea spread with cheese and onion crisps or salmon spread with smoky bacon crisps.

Crisps have to be walkers.

Quavers between buttered bread, however is a win.

My new fave which dp introduced me to a few months ago is crisps and coleslaw on well fired rolls they are heaven!

Well fired rolls may only be available in Scotland so bread choices may vary by area sorry if you miss out on the guys!

Three packets of Asda smart price ready salted in a bowl of Oxo. Spoon the crisps onto brown bread to make a sandwich and dip it in the gravy...

My favourite sandwich-crisp is blue Doritos. On buttered white bread. Nice with some cheddar too.

My friend used to eat fish finger sandwiches. They are surprisingly nice

Some absolutely cracking suggestions! I think I must have had a sheltered childhood as a crisp sandwich has never, ever occurred to me!

I have to say, the mayo complimented the BBQ flavour quite nicely! I have just discovered I'm pregnant, though, so that may have something to do with it!

I have white Hovis bread, that the Tesco man brings fresh, and ready salted Walkers. Nothing on the bread because I don’t like butter or margarine
