Basically i am going to be homeless early in 2018.

It is my own fault by the way. However i saw from the other thread there were places to sleep at night. Are shelter the best people to contatct?

OP, we're sorry to hear that you are in such a difficult position. Hopefully you'll get some good advice here.

We're awed daily by the help and support MNers offer each other.

However, it seems a good moment to remind you all that not everyone on the internet is who they say they are - and remind folk not to give more to another poster, either financially or emotionally than they can spare.

We hope that makes sense.
