An Australian minister wants to limit benefits payments to women unless they submit to having a contraceptive implant. Unsurprisingly, he is not trying to limit male fertility.

I know this was first talked about in 2014 but I only came across it today because Gary Johns has been made head of the charity commission in Australia today.

It's behind a paywall. But yes , that's horrific. I can't use hormonal contraceptive , they make me suicidal.
