Have been a lurker but this “declaration” on Jerusalem is just too much. Each line he’s crossed has been a line too far, but this is overseas. It won’t be American voters losing their lives, American children who will be bombed, American neighborhoods decimated. I can’t find words to describe this man that aren’t obscene.

On another subject, I have to admit that I don't completely understand the controversy regarding moving the capitol to Jerusalem vs Tel Aviv. The majority of us in the US (of my generation) were raised "Israel good/Palestine bad" so I don't have a complete understanding of the intricacies. Jerusalem is a holy city to all three major Abrahamic religions. Is it because that makes it 'disputed' and Tel Aviv is 'neutral'? If someone can dummy it down for me?

On another another subject, I think the majority are more than ready for impeachment and ALL that it entails. After all, the majority didn't want Scrotus elected in the first place. But until we have a Dem majority in Congress we all know that it will never happen, or if it does happen it will be engineered and guaranteed to fail by the GOP majority.

So, as we keep repeating; Resist, Persist, and VOTE in 2018.

Trump has so easily signed a declaration that affects the very existence of a Palestinian state. He has bestowed a gift upon Israel and basically not even given the Palestinians a second thought.
Palestinians are dying every day. They face human rights violations under Israel's annexation policies already. Now they will face more.
