Last Christmas DP was asked to stand in as FC at the last minute for the Round Table going round a local estate on the train with all the music playing. When he left our house, he went and knocked on next doors house and their two DC (6 and 3) came to the door with their dad. DP told them he was just popping by to make sure they were all ready for Christmas, asked them if they had been behaving nicely and to say to make sure to go to bed early on Xmas Eve.
Their Dad told us the next day that their faces just lit up and were so excited that FC had been to their house just to see them both (and obviously FC knew their names!). Made me well up a bit it did :o
