To want to go downstairs and check on my dad?

He's just had surgery on a ruptured Achilles. He's got copd/heart problems and is on lots of meds. He's been prescribed oxycodone for pain. He also drinks a lot.

I'm staying here with DD until work gets finished on new house. He hasn't come up to bed yet but I can't hear snoring.

He could just be asleep quietly/watching to still and if he catches me checking on him he'll lose it. Just really worried with the existing problems, plus strong pain relief and possible alcohol (I don't know if he's definitely drank tonight).

Make a brew?

oldlaundbooth · 24/11/2017 01:43

Yes just nip down

Could your dd have woken up and be missing a specific toy she 'really really needs' to get back to sleep?
Obviously this only works if she's small enough!
Hope he's OK and you can rest easy

Asleep on the floor in the living room-wine open and only half a bottle gone, snoring silently... going to be a long night!

How's is he now? Been thinking about you.

He's doing it again tonight! He's on the sofa at least though. I keep popping my head through every half hour-I told him this morning if been worried-he didn't get too cross which was a surprise.

It's fairy nuff to check on him. I would.

Hope it all goes well.

You don't have to pop your head n every half hour through the night! Clear any booze away and go to bed.
