AIBU to ask about the fire where all the dogs escaped from?

Odd question but we’re watching a tv show about the London fire brigade and it reminded me of something a few years ago

I remember a fire somewhere in the U.K. at a kennels or somewhere similar where the locals broke in and got the dogs out to save them

I’ve tried googling and nothing

Did I dream it??

Wasn't it at battersea? I vaguely remember it?

That’s not as great a story as I remembered

I remembered a version of the story where they’d all been rescued

A massive amount were, think it was 150 rescued

You’re probably remembering the days and weeks afterwards when people came from all over the country to bring donations of food, blankets, toys etc. to the dogs home. It was a terrible tragedy but it was heartening to see so many people trying to help. I think it has since re-opened.

And I think all of the surviving dogs found permanent homes very quickly.
