Dear Father Christmas/Santa, Please grant our Christmas Wish. We have been very good this year. We promise not to say shit, cunt, or fuck too terribly much unless we're driven to it by Trump CuntFuckery. Oh shit, so much for that promise! Well, we'll TRY. Thank You, the MN Viper Freedom Squad

She was absolutely bonkers raving, that’s what was frightening, and that the President ‘ follows ‘ her. But it’s all ok cos it’s just Twitter, an’ ya know( shoulder shrug) that’s how it works.
Am off to dig a fall out shelter, just to protect from the shit.

🇬🇧Donald Trump is facing unprecedented criticism in the Commons chamber today. MPs calling him “fascist”, “stupid”, spreading “evil” and “racist or incompetent or ignorant or all three” - remarks of a vehemence never heard before about a US president in the UK Parliament 🇬🇧

I have this awful friend of a friend who is expecting to come to my wedding. The thing is, he is a racist, sexist, bigoted , evil troll who may well destroy the world. AIBU not to invite him?

that is a thread that Needs to Happen!

someone start it please!

Natsku · 30/11/2017 13:52

Would love that thread Grin

Appeal is over now, I think it went well and everyone seems quite confident. Decision won't be until sometime next year, probably early.

PerkingFaintly · 30/11/2017 13:55

Fingers crossed, Natsku.

Tom Cotton at CIA is terrifying. He’s even more political than Pompeo.

McCain: After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to support the Senate tax reform bill. I believe this legislation, though far from perfect, would enhance American competitiveness, boost the economy, and provide long overdue tax relief for middle class families.

Lweji · 30/11/2017 16:59

Disappointed.

Tough talk from May. Well, not as strong as fuck off, but...

Theresa May says she is not afraid to criticise Donald Trump

"PM reiterates that US president was wrong to retweet far-right UK group’s videos, as Britain pushes for action from White House."

"“Britain First is a hateful organisation. It seeks to spread division and mistrust in our communities. It stands in fundamental opposition to the values that we share as a nation – values of respect, tolerance and, dare I say it, common decency.”"

UPDATE: We may vote on the Republican tax bill TONIGHT. We don't have the final bill. We don't have analysis from the Joint Committee on Taxation as to whether or not the bill would boost the economy. We don't have a Treasury Department analysis. This is OUTRAGEOUS!

Mnuchin's lie might be the most breathtaking of all.

His entire argument for his tax cut is that it'll goose growth. He claims that a Treasury analysis shows this. He promised to release that analysis.

And now a Treasury whistleblower reveals HE NEVER ASKED FOR AN ANALYSIS.

I read that they are getting rid of Tillerson, and replacing him with Pompao. Er. What will that mean?

Article posted up there ^^^ at 4.21pm mini which might help shed some light

Here's where Manafort wants to be able to travel while the case is under consideration. Mueller's team has agreed, but the judge still needs to approve it.

Sarah Kendzior
@sarahkendzior
Two questions:

  1. How will they prevent Manafort from becoming a flight risk?

  2. Is his bail being paid with the profits from the crimes he committed

They have ended Manafort's home arrest, will no longer monitor him by GPS, and will let him travel around the US so long as he gives the team a good-faith heads up 😩

Um...

Mueller has given the go-ahead for Manafort to go back to doing business. In case you forgot, Manafort's business was committing conspiracy against the United States.

If Tillerson goes, I suspect that the floodgates will open.

Minimammoth · 30/11/2017 19:11

Trying to make sense of anything is, of course, impossible where Trump is concerned. It seems the least experience of any role the better. ( back to digging shelter)

AcrossthePond55 · 30/11/2017 19:12

Our local news is reporting that Tillerson may be on the way out, too. They're saying that the WH has confirmed this is 'under discussion as a possibility'. Wonder what Tillerson did or said to piss Scrotus off.

Re the tax bill, my understanding is that they have enough votes to pass this bill if they vote tonight. I'm so disappointed that McCain is supporting this bill.

I think part of the problem is that so many of our members of Congress are so wealthy and out of touch that they have no idea exactly what 'middle class' (by US definition) actually is. Many of them would consider a family earning $200-300k as 'middle class' when in actuality the median income for US households is around $57,000.00. If you work off of that, then 'basic middle class' would probably be households from $57k - $100k. People earning under $100k do NOT stand to benefit from this tax bill.

Surely at this point, despite Theresa May's general air of hopelessness and unpopularity, all she has to do is tweet to Trump, 'Oh, just fuck OFF you absolutely massive bell-end' and she's guaranteed to win the next election?

Honestly, even I would consider voting her back in if she did that.
