To think 25 yr old DSD is old enough to make her own Xmas plans?

DSD is 25 and has lived with me and DH for nearly 6 months after a pretty big falling out with her mum.

We are planning on visiting DHs relatives over Xmas- except DSD doesn't want to go. She wants to spend time with her boyfriend and her friends and i think she is old enough to make her own decisions.

Shes not a massive Xmas dinner fan anyway so i was going to cook her er favourite tea to heat up for Xmas day and leave her a bottle of wine to drink and give her presents before we.

DH has got a titty lip on.

Your "D" H (i remember your other threads ) really needs to groe up and realise the world and his children don't revolve around you.
You however, sound as awesome as ever and i bet that's why he still has a relationship with his kids.

Sounds like OP is just trying to be nice by preparing the favourite meal, rather than the DSD asking for it. Nothing wrong with being nice! OP I remember your thread about your younger DSD, you've always sounded such a lovely stepmum to them both, I'm sure they're very glad to have you.

OP, can you just clarify, Does DH have the, erm, "tittylip" with you or with "SD" ??

Four oages in and I'm still laughing about the titty lip. Your husband seriously needs to back off, she's a grown up and probably just wants a wee shag while he's away and not pacing up and down past her bedroom door in case she unlocks her chastity belt.

I think she is old enough. And had the decency to discuss it now and not a couple of days before Christmas.
