Big question, I know, but have just caught yesterday’s news about yet more abuse (this time from the self styled “Freak Daddy”) against children used for “entertainment” and thereby millions of pounds in revenue. Government is toothless, few advertisers will withdraw. The bigger question is what are we going to end up with when 5 US multinationals determine 90% of our purchasing and viewing decisions? Feel powerless and yet we are all in this, and yes, I do buy sometimes from amazon and use Google. Who can take them on?

Headline (not Daily Fail) is “Google makes millions from disturbing videos..that exploit young children and appeal to paedophiles”. Ok, reading further it’s a “father” who has filmed his kids in distressing situations and gained ££ by doing so as he is paid when viewers click on to any of the advertisers appearing in banner ads on the site. I’d say you can Google it, but it rather defeats my point.
