To ask you about what to do with this stain?

100% silk top. Single cream stain on it. I'm reluctant to take it straight off to the dry cleaner as stuff I've just got back from there with similar greasy marks (I know.... I'm clumsy) didn't budge. Label says 'strictly dry clean only'.
Blooody pricy top too. Help!

Hand wash in lux flakes or dreft. I have handwashed silk blouses and dresses without mishap. They take some ironing though

I've got grease marks out with white spirit but obvs you have to check for discolouration.

This stuff is fab. Takes out oil and butter/cream sauce based marks really well. I haven't used it on silk before though.

Hi cover stain in fairy liquid (just the stain) rub it in, wash it out- let it dry- repeat until stain has gone x

Fairy Platinum. Soak stain and handwash following silk guides online/steam carefully.
