to be annoyed by pockets on my four year old's pyjama...

And whilst we are at it:

... by coffee / latte / whatever being made at the counter at take away food places or cafes (think local beauty spots, National Trust type places), holding up the whole queue? and yes, I am a non-coffee drinker

Are you sure the fake pockets you've seen aren't just stitched up? You can unpick these once you've purchased the coat. I have no idea why they do this but several blazers DH has bought have had stitched up pockets.

It’s to help the clothes hold their shape and so as the pockets don’t get caught in storage/transit. Annoying though.

I hate plastic packaging where you’re supposed to peel the transparent top off from a corner (fish and meat packaging especially) and the transparent plastic never ever comes off properly, ever, even stuff from Waitrose.
