Annoyed about lack of recognition for Christmas hosting

OK, this is basically a rant.

For background, DH and I and our DC always spend Christmas Day itself, just the 4 of us at home (reason behind this, won't bore you). We see extended family on the days around Christmas.

Over the last 9 years the following has happened with my side of the family (on a day/s around Christmas)

on 4 occasions my parents have hosted everybody at their house on 1 single day
on 3 occasions DH and I have hosted everybody at our house on a single day
On 2 occasions DH and I have hosted everybody at our house in dribs and drabs

(so basically everyone came to us, or we went to my parents)

This year my brother and SIL have announced they'd like to host everyone at their house en-masse.
This would be fine except ... everybody has said how thoughtful this is as it will give our parents a break as "they always do it". Er, no they don't I say and point out we've done it quite a few times as well. But apparently no one remembers this.

AIBU to be pissed off and never invite anyone over at Christmas again :)

Meh. YABU. Sounds like polite conversation not deliberate cheeky fuckery.
Go to SILs. Enjoy getting waited on for a change.

If one of my siblings said that it would be deliberate goading intended to be hilarious and would be taken that way. Are you sure that is not going on here?

Ha! I'd be cheesed off but only because my family have a habit of doing this a lot. Hmm. "But you can't remember all of the previous times we've hosted, mustn't have enjoyed it. Are you 'sure' you'd like to come back?"

But I'm (admittedly) very petty at times. I'd probably still have them back because Christmas, for me, is all about family.
