It might have been a smidge funny the first time but now it's not cute and it's as boring and irritating as fuck. Is it just me who hates the Andrex advert?

I don’t think adverts were better back in the day, I’ve spent —many hours of my life— the odd ten minutes watching old ads on YouTube and the bulk of them are instantly forgettable. We just tend to remember the few classics fondly.

Absolutely hated this advert from the start, just awful. Whoever told them it was remotely funny.

I also hate the daytime tv ad with older people in a garden centre admiring lillies and saying what a great funeral their mate had and how they could never afford a send off like that.

The false laughter of the men at the end reminiscent of a 70's sitcom makes me want to commit violence that will make them use their bloody funeral plan sooner than anticipated. They cannot wait for their own funerals, its so exciting!

Brendan Gibson was apparently in Mr Selfridge (can't remember) but he didn't play the part of Mr Selfridge. That was Jeremy Piven.
