It might have been a smidge funny the first time but now it's not cute and it's as boring and irritating as fuck. Is it just me who hates the Andrex advert?

There’s a life insurance one with a father and grown-up daughter on a beach, that starts of with them talking about the weather and then it randomly skips to a conversation about mum’s funeral. The father then starts talking about how he arranged it. I always think “did the daughter not know this already? She left her dad to do all the arrangements himself? And now she’s dicking about on a beach and suddenly wants to know.”

The Haribo ads are awful and creepy, they make me want to hurl! I like the McDonald's ad atm - the one taking the mick out of all the overpriced hipster coffee.

Nationwide using Top Cat and Scooby Doo to sell financial products ?
The pension campaign , an important issue , headed by what looks like one of the wild things. And the head on a skateboard with Arnie's voice telling us that the closing date for PPI claims is looming . Actually that day will be a cause for celebration.

walchester while I love 70s cartoons more than life itself, god knows what they were thinking there. I mean, Topcat lives in a bin!!

Oh I HATE the oral B ads! Where’s the fucking toothpaste woman?

And all womens razor ads full of women shaving their hairless legs.

That toothpaste advert with the woman making stupid faces at the kids on the train - her hair is all tucked in her collar, why? It must be so itchy.

The andrex ads are annoying. Agreed, bring back the puppies!

I hate that Chanel one with Johnny Depp’s daughter poncing about with a giant light bulb.

Yes to all of this. The Andrex one puts my teeth on edge. All those bingo ones too.

Or, even worse, the one with the squealing twit yelling NINETY NINE CALORIES? Honestly that ad makes me want to remove her right to vote

Remember the really good advert Hovis did, with the little boy running through time? I thought that was brilliant. You don't get ads like that any more, John Lewis used to be good and went downhill too.

The Specsavers ones are the only decent ones now. For the PP who mentioned the music in the sheepdog one, it's actually an Irish song called mo ghile mear

Why don’t Levi’s advertise anymore? They did great ads....

I quite liked the snickers ones. Especially the one from a few years ago with Joan Collins being a diva in the blokes changing room.

The SpecSaver ads have been good for years.

Dentist ones are almost always awful regardless of the actual brand of toothpaste promoted and are always very similar to each other.

The sanitary/incontinence ones are dire. "I say no way "= in the squeaky voice of a 3yo: you're a grown woman, dear, promoting products that are essential to other grown women.

Hate the fox from the bingo ads. Not sure what ad agency thought that sly looking shit in a purple suit would sell bingo to women under 40. I just imagine him stinking of fags, having yellow teeth and wandering hands... paws...
Whatever.

The Fairy Biker Baby - just who is that aimed at ? Mothers with Hells Angel Babies? Hells Angel Bikers who wash up? Who?

And the Squealy 99 calories woman is just crap. I can't imagine who sits in an office and thinks 'I know! everyone around will fall over jsut because she is eating a yoghurt so low in taste and high in sugar - It's inspiring, no?' Angry

In fact I can't imagine how most ads these days got off the table.

Yy to the annoying kids in the Andrex adverts - bring back the real puppies, now they WERE cute!

Another fan of the Dairy Milk guy in the office. I think a lot of it is the little twinkle and smirk he does to the camera near the beginning - you can tell he's having trouble taking it seriously!

Yes Baggy that's exactly it. His twinkle makes him look like he could be funny and filthy in equal measures
