To think that most 'mummy' bloggers/vloggers/instagrammers are from a well off background?

Hence why they seem to be so well off (plus they’ve usually married someone wealthy too)

Whenever any of them show vlogs or photos of going to visit their parents, the parents always have a massive house and seem very very affluent. Has anyone else noticed that?

One vlogger’s husbands family own a farm so they presumably get their house for free. Any other vlogger and her husband and kids have recently moved in with her wealthy father. Another one regularly posts video footage of her parents house which is like a mansion!

It only seems possible for someone to be a successful blogger or vlogger if there is family money there, for all those hauls!

I think that there is slightly more of a mix in terms of bloggers, than there are for vloggers and instagrammers. although with it being more of an image driven thing i suppose that's to be expected as they'll need to have the 'right' gear in which to pose/pose their kids in order for it to take off i suppose.

I don't know if it's anything to do with the wealthier classes having more opportunity to have a stay at home parent? All the bloggers/vloggers I've seen/read seem to be SAHMs.

Well you probably don't have time to do it if you're working a shit job (or two!) and trying to work out childcare etc!

Not to mention it's very important to have the right fashion brands and aesthetic in your house.

When you're poor you don't have the energy to sort this kind of stuff out.

Oh yes, money for the obligatory grey and white decor is essential!

Yes, I’ve often thought that.

Money makes money. Or at least gives you breathing space to not make money whilst popularity is building.

Do you mean Mrs Meldrum and Claire Witt

I disagree with you. Some may be well off but so what? Blogging/vlogging etc seems like an easy job but unless your heart is in it you won't make any money/get given gifts etc. I agree that instagram is definitely image driven - photos are generally staged and meticulously planned. But some of them do a behind the pixels photo or story and actually all the mess is there too!

I think if you want to start your own business or do the vlog/blog stuff then you have to work in the evenings and spare time (whatever your background) to achieve your end goal. I'm no expert and I couldn't do it but have seen some acquaintances and a friend become semi successful (not sure how you measure success) and they have come from a 'normal' middle clase background. Some do it during maternity leave.

I can see what you are saying but fair play to them doing it.
