To use mid term break as a chance to do very fucking little?

I always feel guilty about this. On FB people seem to be doing things every day with their DCs, out on day trips, away on overnight trips etc.

We went out for the day on Tuesday but apart from that we’ve done very little. We’ve had lie-ins, lazy walks, been to Asda, watched a couple of movies, played Lego, painted, and really just pottered about the house. DC aren’t complaining. I work but am off this week as DCs are off school so it feels like my mid term break too Grin

Does anyone else just treat it as a chance to be lazy?

Goodness no you're not BU - that's exactly what we did. When you're back it all kicks into overdrive in the approach to Christmas anyway so best to get some R&R before the hysteria.

Plus it is also the season for reacquainting yourself with the sound of your DC barking like seals at night at the end of colds from hell. So get some rest now...
