I came across it last night when looking for advice.

People calling children with special needs unpleasant names. Arguing and bickering. It's really put me off

Do I need to just toughen up?

Alas that is the opinion they have of mumsnet.

Hells bells - I am on both 🤔

MyBeloved · 05/11/2017 11:56

Horridemma, yep, TES have always hated Mumsnet since time began Grin

I hold no truck with it any more - haven't for years. Too many over-inflated egos vying for attention 😂

Were the comments disablist in that they showed prejudice against the disability?

Because some pupils are very hard to like irrespective of any disability.

Well a mum who is also a teacher has posted to say she'd be upset and angry if her child was spoken about in that way.

Well wanttobeateacha or wanttobeateacher or wanttobeatateacher it is a tough profession. There is a lot of venting on there as there is here.

They are very supportive of colleagues who are having difficulties especially stress related.

Similar to mumsnet in many ways.

I still get some resources off there for free which colleagues kindly share. TES itself has made life a bit trickier with the marketplace idea but people need to earn money somehow
