To think Trump's vitriol over the NY attack is based solely on racism?

He has been very vocal over this attack, has called it evil, has said they need to send suspects to Guantanamo Bay, that he is a terrorist and they need to clamp down on immigration.

After the Vegas attack Trump said that the man 'was probably ill, had a lot of issues'.

Why the hell can't Trump supporters see him for the racist this man really is? It is sickening to see him leaping on any opportunity to push through a ban on Muslims entering the USA, even though I have no idea what race or religion the guy who was behind the NY attack was, but seems to forget that white men with legal guns kill more people in America all the time. And won't do anything to change that.

I actually despair.

Falnui, a report was issued on 17 October which states that Heather Heyer was killed by blunt force trauma. Not a heart attack. Your sources are outdated.

Falnui, even Reddit banned the fat people hate sub.

You can find it on voat now, apparently, and the stormfront views on there will suit you to a tee as well. Off you toddle (and don't let your knuckles scrape the floor on the way).

I can. I have Muslim friends and acquaintances who don't attack anyone. Some islamic groups are on a power trip, they attack both Western countries and Muslim populations. I recommend that you watch more than Fox News or read the Daily Mail.

What then is motivating them? Keep in mind, groups like ISIS have been crystal clear about his.

Darling, if Islam was a threat as you say, as a whole religion, with 1.8 billion worldwide, you and I wouldn't be having this conversation.

what that says is that most muslims don't commit violent acts. No one disputes that.

But, did you, that the NYC attack wasn't the most deadly attack the day it happened (ISIS killed 14 people in Afghanistan, suicide bomb)? in fact, if you look at the last 5 days there were four attacks more deadly than the NYC (by ISIS, Taliban or Boko Haram). And the last five days weren't anomalous.

They say they are Muslims. They attack Muslims, though. They are a bunch of power hungry men who use Islam as an excuse for violence and imposing their own dictatorship.
What they say are their reasons and their real reasons are different things.
A bit like Trump campaign promises and Trump reality.
They do show what they are if you pay attention, though.

Yes, those groups are a problem.

Not Islam per se.

By that reasoning, Buddhism is a problem, considering what they've been doing to the Rohingya Muslims in Burma.

What those people are going through appears to be pure hell.

However, buddhishm is at fault if those perpetrating the violence are using a plausible interpretation of buddhism to just their violence.

Are they?

Apparently yes, as have other Buddhist groups.
As have Christians.

I wouldn't blame the religion itself but the people who use it to justify their actions.

I don't think so. Please point where in buddha's writing it says to do any of this violence.

It's sectarian violence.

I wouldn't blame the religion itself but the people who use it to justify their actions.

why not? When communists confiscate land from landowners and give them to others, do we blame just those people doing it, or do we blame and criticize communism itself? Why are the ideas protected from criticism?
