Tiny thought crossed my mind before I left the house this morning.

I have virtually no very small boobs and recently decided to ditch the wired, padded fandangos and get myself so lovely comfy cloth triangle things. I love them. Noticed this morning despite wearing the bra and a shirt and a jumper, my nipples are very viable (probably because it's bollocking freezing here).

I sort of shrugged to myself and left the house but just out of idle curiosity does it bother anybody if their nips are on show as they go about their business?

Thinking about it the tabloids make the most awful fuss about people "going braless" but I can't quite make out why they think it's interesting or what they're implying.

I can't believe that women are being so mean and judgemental towards each other over something so trivial!

If a nipple is actually visible then yes, inappropriate in the workplace but a small bump in the fabric of your top? Who cares? We all have them!

Anyway I'm not adding padding to my G cups. No matter what people want to say. Nipple shape can be seen through most non padded bras so should I not leave the house without a Cardigan or a Scarf for fear of offending? Fuck off!

I am sure my nipples are showing plenty of time, but I already wish my breasts were smaller. So I am definitely not going to add volume with any of that padded stuff. Not to mention that padded bras are a nightmare to wash.

They aren't.
Women's nipples are way more prominent and sticky outty than mens which is why they're more noticable and seen as being more sexy. They tend, on the whole, to be larger as well.
I saw a documentary awhile back about females transitioning to males and it's common for them to have part of their nipples 'shaved' off to make them look less female.

That's why men find women's breasts sexy. As well as the fullness, the nipples are larger and more prominent.

Right, so just so we're clear, it has nothing to do with the pervasive and insidious objectification of women. Nothing to do with women being seen as and treated as sex objects - existing solely for the pleasure and satisfaction of men? No, it's about having 'sticky outty' nipples, which might I add not all women have, but somehow still manage to find themselves at the receiving end of inappropriate sexual commentary.

I notice nipples, and feel very neutral about them, and the people showing them. It can be a good look.
Its generally easy to see if someone is doing it in an exhibitionists way. And fine if they are, getting attention is no crime.

I do it all the time. I’m a perky C cup so not massive and I actually prefer to wear either no bra or a thin bra. If I notice my nipples I just shrug and get on with my day.
I do find it hilarious if someone notices and keeps trying to take a sly look lol.
But ultimately I’m not going to make myself uncomfortable to keep others happy.

I wear under wired bras with a moulded cup (so slightly padded) and then one or two layers, my nipples are often still visible. It's just how my boobs are built, I'm not attention seeking or any other rubbish. Maybe all these people checking out boobs should stop looking if they find it so displeasing! It isn't exactly something you can do anything about. I don't get up in the morning and think "hmmmmm I would really like random strangers to stare at my chest today...... I know I'll wear my big norks today" or "actually I'm feeling a bit shy today I'll leave the massive knockers at home this morning"

Why do women perpetuate this crap? It is bad enough men might think it without women going round making other women feel bad about natural physical features they can do nothing about. Dragon I don't think it's just the 'institutional sexualisation', I think it's biological? Yes they're for feeding, they signal youth/fertility ergo good for breeding with ergo 'sexy'. Though Andrew Marr has literally just said on television it's not 'trendy' to bring up our animalistic nature to explain our behaviour, I still think it's silly to ignore the fact we are mammals.

Breasts don't say jack shit about a woman's fertility. Plus, there are cultures where it is perfectly normal for women to go topless and nobody raises an eyebrow. It's only in most western nations where we are so puritanically sexist about women's breasts.

I'm large of bust, I wear underwired t-shirt bras & live in t-shirts. Sometimes when passing a mirror or catch my reflection in glass I notice my nipples are showing. The only thing that bothers me is if they're having a difference of opinion on where they're facing 😖🤣

I don't get all of this 'I wouldn't do it' or 'It's attention seeking'. Do you REALLY think it's a choice? They do their own thing! I' wearing a perfectly reasonable bra already, I'm certainly not going to wear a padded bra (they already have their own post code) and I'm not putting tape on them. soupforbrains I’ve been wearing some very cheap ones from Amazon. Search for something like ‘Comfortable Seamless Leisure Yoga Stretch Sports Bra Comfort Crop Top’ and you should find it.

They don’t give much support but I think I just about get away with it (for now!) and if it means no back/chest pain then I’ll take it. I do feel like they make my boobs look bigger though, I hadn’t realised how much my old bras were strapping them down!
