To wonder if people notice this?

Tiny thought crossed my mind before I left the house this morning.

I have virtually no very small boobs and recently decided to ditch the wired, padded fandangos and get myself so lovely comfy cloth triangle things. I love them. Noticed this morning despite wearing the bra and a shirt and a jumper, my nipples are very viable (probably because it's bollocking freezing here).

I sort of shrugged to myself and left the house but just out of idle curiosity does it bother anybody if their nips are on show as they go about their business?

Thinking about it the tabloids make the most awful fuss about people "going braless" but I can't quite make out why they think it's interesting or what they're implying.

I've prominent nipples and have always been self conscious of them. I do kind of wish I had the confidence to wear them with s bit of pride...

My biggest issue post dd is making sure they're level with each other Grin

If you are uncomfortable with nipples, as expressed up thread, can you answer me this?

Are you uncomfortable with male cold-hard-nips too? If so, why? And if not, why not?

The UK is a weird place. Why are nipples distracting? Especially covered up.omes you can only see from the outline. Every human has nipples why are they seen as distracting and bad.

I wouldn't like seeing them and would probably think to myself poor woman doesn't realise.

Put them away.

I wear slightly padded bras, partly to avoid that look where your top stretches from one side to the other with a clear line between the nipples. But if I noticed it in someone else I'd think they were just more confident than me.

People probably notice, but it's not like it's a secret you've got them, so I wouldn't bother too much - if I'm just in a t-shirt and it gets chilly mine are certainly visible through my perfectly normal bra.

I'm another one who worked in a school, and none of us would wear anything less than hugely padded bras - there's nothing quite like walking down a corridor full of teenage boys sniggering for making you self conscious about your boobs...

I might notice but wouldn’t think anything of it, they’re just nipples! I often go braless as bras are very uncomfortable for me. If I am wearing something sheer like on holiday I sometimes stick on some nipple covers- basically a silicon circle shape with sticky on the nipple side so they don’t show through.

Mine are sometimes visible especially at the gym in the mornings. I don't particularly mind unless they're pointing in different directions! (I have quite an ample bosom which gets strapped into a surgical truss of a sports bra. If that happens I go to the loo for a discreet rearrange.

I used to work with a guy who fancied himself as some sort of Bear Grylls for the older generation. He would always wear really tight t-shirts to show off his pecs- and it looked as if he was smuggling two peanuts down his front Grin

We were going to buy him two small corn plasters for Xmas Grin

I think it is fine as long as it doesn't bother you, if you are going about your day worrying if people are looking at you and it is distracting, maybe you could wear a triangle bra with a bit more coverage.

If you are going about your day thinking 'woo' look at my awesome nipples, then just carry on. You are after all wearing a bra, not letting it all hang out (not that there is anything wrong with that, if that's what floats your boat!).

On another note, you have just reminded me of when I was a young trainee in my first job and a lovely middle aged lady I worked with told me her nipples were like chapel hat pegs, Shock. I can't remember why she told me this but every time anyone mentions nipples now that is all I can think of. Grin.

I've work a scarf if I can't be bothered with a bra quite often to cover nipple outline . Small boobs here too.

I don't think it's wring as such but I guess I feel a bit old for it.

I notice and don't like it. Its attention seeking, like when you can see men's knobs through thin/tight trousers. Or even a camel toe- just a bit "look at me" in public.

You can wear pasties

I don't really like having my nips on display but I'm intrigued by your viable nipples OP Grin

It's not attention seeking! I need only get certain bras that actually fit and the soft ones are the most comfortable. They just do what they want.

Those sticky nip covers? This depresses me. Sad

If I were cold enough for my nipples to be visible I would put a jacket on. I hate being cold.

Hate nipples showing so wear lightly padded bras (also helps my small boob situation!).

I would find it a bit unprofessional in a work environment to see very prominent nips on show, the same way I would with lots of cleavage (push up bra type effort).

I'm aware this may be my issue rather than a reasonable thing, but I'm also aware that it would not be an uncommon notion.

You do realise nipples aren genitals? Confused its more like when you can see men’s nipples through tops. (Which happens all the time) That’s the comparison you were looking for.

My nipples are shit as I found out when trying to bf. I also have big boobs sp wear quite sturdy bras. If I was more comfortable in something else though that 'showed' my nipples I'd wear them. Its not like you're walking around topless. Some people nipples stick out a bit...really don't get why they should wear something they're not comfortable in coz of this. I'll admit though I do sometimes notice if a woman's (and mans) nipples are sticking out. Don't think much of it though

It makes me wonder if she's noticed, but yep I'm afraid I find it slightly exhibitionist!

Wow - okay. I'm glad I asked. I didn't really understand people found it to be exhibitionist. They still show under three layers, though. It's not like I'm doing it on purpose but now I realise some people might see it that way. Sad

I do sometimes notice. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion - as PP said, everybody has them. Mine are very flat and never show, and I'm too big to go braless anyway. Sad

I don't like to see man nipples either.
