Are that probably all people who speak a language that has gendered nouns? Do they do it only with bags?
In German a bag is female "die Tasche". I don't do that much anymore, I have been in English-speaking countries for a long time now, but I still call all cats "she" even if I know it's a male cat (die Katze) and all dogs "he" (der Hund). I get told off by the dc for it.

Yeah, there's these websites of bag lovers (PurseForum, TheBagForum, etc) and they call bags as "her" or "she".

For example, I bought this insert name of bag yesterday and she's very beautiful.

I think I'd probably just stay off forums that exist solely to talk about bags. How fucking dull!
