Just catching up on Coronation Street and the social worker, can't remember her name, ordered a black coffee to take away.

£2.10!!! What on earth?

AIBU in thinking that's totally unrealistically overpriced for a greasy spoon in a Manc suburb?

It can't be much, they're in there for cakes every day when the factory is operating!

I love how all the factory workers are unemployed now but are eating and drinking in the cafe when their own houses are in the same street.

Exactly mybrilliant, especially at those prices. It would cost pennies at home.

Don’t watch it now - can’t bear it, but always wondered how they could afford to be drinking in the pub every lunchtime and night.

Maybe a half pint in the Rovers is cheaper than one of Roy's extortionate coffees
