Worst thing you have ever seen staying at an Airbnb

Tonight I was made to take my shoes off when stepping inside the house and was later confronted by the horror which is a RAINBOW TOWELLING TOILET SEAT!!

I can’t wee until I leave the house in 10 hours time!!

What’s the worst thing you’ve found in an Airbnb?

We have Japanese friends who sent us some very similar toilet seats for Xmas a few years ago! I suspect you’re right and it’s cultural. Really hope they wash them between guests though!

(And no, we never have used the ones we were gifted!)

I wouldn’t remove the cover to be honest. You don’t know what’s lurking underneath...

Wait till you see a towelling cistern cover.... I really shouldn't have read this thread as we're staying in an Airbnb next week on holiday. The reviews so far are good though
