Worst thing you have ever seen staying at an Airbnb

Tonight I was made to take my shoes off when stepping inside the house and was later confronted by the horror which is a RAINBOW TOWELLING TOILET SEAT!!

I can’t wee until I leave the house in 10 hours time!!

What’s the worst thing you’ve found in an Airbnb?

Use washing up gloves to remove it then take it to the garden and set fire to it. You'd be doing them a favour.

  1. Put a carrier bag over it and cut a hole in the middle.
  1. Wrap it in cling film
  1. Cover it in loo roll
  1. Take it off
  1. Hover
  1. Ffs just lift the seat up
  1. Burn it
  1. Leave a skid on it
  1. Piss in the bath (no bath just a shower but this is beginning to look like the best plan)

Pee in a mug then carefully decant into the toilet. Avoid splashing though, pour it gently like pouring a Diet Coke in a cold glass.

If i was really desperate, I'd pull off a piece of loo roll and use that to lift up the seat...but what if moisture started soaking through the loo roll?

There’s a hideous piece of wet, stained clothing by the sink. I don’t know what it is but it looks a bit...gussetty...

Worst AirBnB I had was one with a "no bare feet" rule. Shoes off and placed in shoe rack: normal. Explicit instructions "please bring socks or slippers to wear, no bare feet please': weird.

My sister stayed in one somewhere in France and it was pretty clean apart from the shower. There was a lump of pooh in there 😳 and the fridge had a mouldy banana in it. She complained and they gave one nights money back.

That seat cover is vile. One place I stayed had transparent shower heads, with these coloured beads in.
When you showered they made the water a different colour and made it smell of mint.
I was a bit hungover and wanted to upchuck!

It wouldn't have been all bad, but the shower heads were not new, shiny and clean. They were old, limescale and fusty.

Stayed in one in the uk. One of the Windows was tilt and turn. I opened it wide to find a half smoked spliff inside the rim. Left it there not wanting to dispose of it or tell the owner....
