Flu jab incorrectly given

Had the flu shot yesterday under the skin as pharmacy said I had too skinny an arm!?
Never had this before and it's sore today. Google is suggesting (shouldn't be reading I know!) that it was given incorrectly. Should I be worried?!

That looks fine tbh, a red mark/swelling/hardness are all common side effects. If you're worried just keep an eye on it - I wouldn't expect it to spread much more than that; if you're particular you can draw around it in biro to make it easier to see if it is spreading or shrinking. Again, should go down within a few days.

My arm was slightly sore for a couple of days. Otherwise absolutely fine.

I vary in how I react to the flu vaccine. This year just a bruised feeling. Last year itchy and red. Must be what's in it. The swine flu in the year of the outbreak was the worst.m

I had a super sore arm that ached for the best part of a week and felt quite unwell on day 2-3.

Still better than getting the flu.
