Watching How to Eat Well for Less on BBC 1 and as with almost every episode the mother, Sue, appears to be in charge of all the family planning, shopping and cooking. So far, so depressingly usual.
What appalls me is that her husband, and now her children, having usually done nothing to help, score her out of 10 for her efforts
. The poor woman admits to having to guess what they might like and cooking different meals for the fussy younger child and fussier husband, and never knows if they'll be happy or not until they give her a number!
Would you put up with that?!
