Watching it again and it just loses its magic after Will dies. Plus they keep trotting out numerous men interests who are far too young for Alicia. And her botox gets worse as time goes on.

I need to watch something else now I think

OP posts:

Didn't Will die in season 5, nearly two years ago? I think pp are very unreasonable to say this is a spoiler Hmm

Yes - I agree it went to shite after Will died, it was quite dull.

The Good Fight (if you can find it) is worth a look. I'm on the fence about Big little Lies, the story line was quite predictable. IMO the acting/storyline didn't blow me away. I believe they only gave it so many awards because it was a "1st" to have so many a list actresses in a TV show. But that's just my opinion.

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo · 22/10/2017 14:10

Yes, it just dragged on after that.

Though I’m now watching the Law and Order series about the Menendez murders and it’s rather ruining Will for me Sad

confusedlittleone · 22/10/2017 14:12

I rather enjoy Matt Czuchry (Cary) tho, he's extremely good looking a good actor he's the only reason I watched it after will died

Littlecaf · 22/10/2017 14:19

We're heavily into Narcos at the mo, although it's all sex and violence, but apparently mostly true. So no rubbish characters.

kittytom · 22/10/2017 14:23

Hmm. I am only one series two. Luckily I knew he dies!

endehors · 22/10/2017 14:26

Well I couldn't get past episode one, season one, I thought it was a bit ropey then, so I'm inclined to agree with you. Grin

No, that's not a spoiler, agreeing with previous posters. If it had only aired in the last few weeks, maybe...

kittytom · 22/10/2017 14:27

Will is one of the main reasons I watch it though so I agree that it will be rubbish when he does!

Flisspaps · 22/10/2017 14:29

I agree. We binge watched it and I gave up partway through series 6. The storylines just get fucking stupid and there’s too much to-ing and fro-ing with mergers and new partnerships.

RabbitSaysWoof · 22/10/2017 14:31

Will bored me ridged. I was more upset when Kalinda left.

AssignedPerfectAtBirth · 22/10/2017 14:31

I asked for the title to be changed 4 minutes after posting the thread but I guess there's not a lot of staff about on a Sunday

I agree about Cary and he gets cuter as time goes on. Is Narcos good then?

OP posts:
Tankerdale · 22/10/2017 15:49

Yabu for the spoiler, I would have been DEVASTATED if I'd seen this when I was mid way through and hadn't got there yet (and I watched it way after everyone else)

But YANBU, I totally agree with you.

confusedlittleone · 22/10/2017 16:15

Is it really a spoiler when the episode aired march 2014!?

DancingHouse · 22/10/2017 16:24

Will was boring I thought it got better without him. The Good Fight is excellent.

PuppyMonkey · 22/10/2017 16:26

if you haven't seen the show when it was originally broadcast - as literally millions of us didnt in this case - it's a spoiler. What show/film have you not got round to watching yet, confused, if I've seen it I'll tell you the ending. Grin

PinkyBlunder · 22/10/2017 16:28

YANBU however, I quite liked the thing she had with the Walking Dead guy in the last season. Maybe worth holding out for...

The Good Fight is also rather fantastic

Nanny0gg · 22/10/2017 16:49

Bugger

Nanny0gg · 22/10/2017 16:50

Is it really a spoiler when the episode aired march 2014!?

Yes. It's on my list of things to watch.

And the title's been edited but not the relevant posts.

Sad
TheFallenMadonna · 22/10/2017 17:00

So all plot details of everything need to be kept under embargo indefinitely in case at some undefined point in the future somebody wants to watch them for the first time??

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo · 22/10/2017 17:13

But Nanny the title now specifically says spoiler alert.

If all the posts discussing the spoiler were removed/edited then there would be absolutely no point to the thread Confused

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 22/10/2017 17:17

What spoiler?

It was seasons and seasons ago.
Spoiler is information about something that hasn't aired yet.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 22/10/2017 17:18

Spoiler alert.

Titanic sinks.

PuppyMonkey · 22/10/2017 17:21

Chardonnay, ok which books, classic films, box set TV programmes have you not seen - I would like to tell you the endings of any that have been around for a few years.Wink

TheSecondOfHerName · 22/10/2017 17:24

I think it did go downhill a bit after the incident mentioned by the OP, but even then it was still better than much of what's on TV.

I watched the first series of the spin-off and it seems promising.

LaurieMarlow · 22/10/2017 17:28

Kalinda was a much bigger loss tbf.

What was all that shit about a rift between the 2 actresses and Juliana refusing to share scenes with her?

LaurieMarlow · 22/10/2017 17:35

Just don't open the thread if you don't want it spoilt.
