Bought a few bits to stash away in the wardrobe ..... left them in the hallway for mere seconds whilst I nipped back out to car. Greedy feckers have ripped them open and sharing them 😡😡

Sorry YABU to buy Christmas treats this early. They would get eaten in our house as would just be thought of as a special treat to have now.

Nocabbageinmyeye · 21/10/2017 17:51

Rookie mistake on your part op. It's never too early for Christmas chocolate/chocolate in general

PizzaPlease · 21/10/2017 17:51

I ate snowbites yesterday. GrinHalo

Moanyoldcow · 21/10/2017 17:54

I had to stop buying Christmas treats early as they just go in a week. Because I have no self control Blush

StepAwayFromCake · 21/10/2017 17:57

But it's chocolate!

Katedotness1963 · 21/10/2017 17:59

What are Festive Friends?

I don't reall give Christmas any thought till we get the eldests birthday out of the way at the end of October. It would be nice to be more organised but the budget means waiting...

ItchySeveredFoot · 21/10/2017 18:02

I've been eating iced mince tarts since I found them in tesco. In September BlushGrin

PeanutButterCheesecake · 21/10/2017 18:02

I've eaten 1.5 boxes of festive friends so far 😋

TheFlame · 21/10/2017 18:02

I've been eating them throughout the year. They're my favourite so I buy loads when they are reduced after Christmas or when they pop up in home bargains or similar.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/10/2017 18:02

My DS (nearly 18) isn't quite as feral though he did get wired into the Hallowe'en sweets.

"Says Family Bag , I'm your fahhhhhhmmly" he says in a Phil Mitchel voice .

"They were in the Hallowe'en aisle in Tesco , they're ToT sweets"

"But I wasn't at Tesco, so I didn't know that" he munches down another Crunchie bar

Halloween Wink

LilyPondFrog · 21/10/2017 18:07

I love Festive Friends so no...I don't blame them.

To whoever asked what Festive Friends are, they're Christmas themed animal biscuits mmmm

RebeccatheOld · 21/10/2017 18:58

Last year I started eating mini-eggs on boxing day.

AND I'm proud of it.

MexicanBob · 21/10/2017 19:25

This thread makes me despair of civilisation and our children's future. I am going to sit in a darkened room with a double pack of Tunnock wafers until I feel better. Chocolate

DancingHouse · 21/10/2017 19:57

Oh please, I'm on my 3rd packet of mini stollen this year and we've got mince pie ice cream for pudding after Sunday lunch tomorrow.

Bluelonerose · 21/10/2017 20:00

You made the mistake of bringing it in when others were around.
You have to think of it as a ninja mission to get it from the car to the hiding place. Good luck next time Grin
