‘My god girl- You’re pregnant.’

Said by a Dr to a 14 year old me.

OP posts:
nakaji · 18/10/2018 20:31

Your daughter has a growth on her brain

chickenchip · 18/10/2018 20:32

At 12 week scan: "There is lots of babies in there"

LittleMissDancersmum · 18/10/2018 20:36

My horrid ex - it can't be rape if we are in a relationship

Judge didn't agree with his thinking and he's serving 12 years for 14 counts off rape and sexual assault

Snowdog37 · 18/10/2018 20:39

For Clueless1980: I was told something very similar 3 years ago and like you, my heart shattered into a thousand pieces. But I’ve just been shopping with my 8 month old son. We went to Prague and used donor eggs and picsi to get some/any good swimmers from my husband. It’s not too late if you’re willing to consider a different road to motherhood. I wish you all the very best, and please message me if you’d like to know more about my experiences. I can highly recommend my clinic etc. They have literally made my dreams come true!

Pgs007 · 18/10/2018 20:44

you're 23 weeks +2 days.. (when I found out I was pregnant)

GogoGobo · 18/10/2018 20:46

“Just my bloody luck”
Said by my mum when the doctor told her she had terminal cancer and she probably had about 8 weeks to live. She had 7.

“It’s ok, he’s ok, he’s breathing”
By the nurse who held my hand all the way through my emergency ceasarian.

ChooChooBeanz · 18/10/2018 20:46

I have a few.

“The next 24 hours are critical” a doctor told me about my mum, thankfully she pulled through 🙏🏻

“I’m afraid the cancer has returned” the consultant to my aunt, I was with her. Unfortunately she died 4 months later 😢

Sparrowlegs248 · 18/10/2018 20:50

"Fuck off you vile bitch" said by stbx as I held our 3 day old baby, and our toddler looked on.

PermanentlyTiredPigeon · 18/10/2018 20:55

“It was better before, so just get the f**k out.”

By my long term boyfriend about our beautiful 8 month old daughter as he trashed her things and then made us homeless.

So I went back to uni as a post grad, got a million letters after my name, got a good job and we haven’t heard from him since.

I do however know that he’s an unemployed, paranoid, weedaholic who I wouldn’t piss on if his face was on fire.

amusedbush · 18/10/2018 21:02

‘I never wanted kids. I had you so your dad wouldn’t leave me.’

Spankyoumuchly · 18/10/2018 21:11

I had a variation of that amusedbush. My mum didn't want me, she only had me because my dad wanted a child. I knew it for as long as I can remember, from the age of under two. I thought everyone's mum thought this.

highheelsandbobblehats · 18/10/2018 21:19

Chickenchip. How many?!

Flowers to everyone. This thread is beautiful, heartbreaking and all of humanity in one place x

giveovermypreciousss · 18/10/2018 21:20

A long letter stating how awful i am as a daughter and signed 'your ex mum'.
It was the point that I said no more to my toxic mother. That i didnt want her alcoholic and abusive ways near my dc. That I didnt believe that she didnt know about the sexual abuse her husband put me and my sis through.

Busybusybust · 18/10/2018 21:20

I’m so sorry, but your daddy died this morning.

Said by me to my 4 children aged 15 to 5. He’d had a massive heart attack aged 45.

Tammyxxx · 18/10/2018 21:23

‘I can’t stop thinking about you’ said the man I’d eventually marry ❤️

veeboo · 18/10/2018 21:28

I can't be your friend anymore. You're too depressed.

NannyKasey · 18/10/2018 21:33

'We need your contact numbers' Hospitals Intensive Care Unit to my DM and DS after I was admitted after suffering a bleed on my brain.

It was only recently that I realised they took the numbers in case I didn't survive the night. I thought at the time they were all making a fuss about nothing and I was fine (I have a platinum clip in my head that proves otherwise)

Almost 2 years on, I'm fully recovered

Wasitnotme · 18/10/2018 21:35

"Yes the biopsy result was positive you do have breast cancer and will need to have radiotherapy and chemotherapy" October 2012.

anniegranny · 18/10/2018 21:37

“I’m afraid it’s cancer... in both breasts “

Mummyten · 18/10/2018 21:37

“ .. you’ll realise why all the others were wrong when you meet the right one” said to me by my dear late mum and my dad always reminding me that” we are here for a good time not a long time “

KenDoddsDadsDogIsDead · 18/10/2018 21:41

Your Dad is dead.. but you know he wasn't your 'real' dad don't you?

I was 12..and I didn’t know.

PurplePenguins · 18/10/2018 21:47

"Hit daddy" said my 2yo DS3 as he gave me a piece of wood as his father strangled me. It was the wake up call I needed to leave him.

"Take these tablets on the day you come on and for the next five days. I'll give you 2 months worth but you won't need them" said my doctor when I couldn't get pregnant. She was right. DS2 was born 9 months later 😊

ohtheholidays · 18/10/2018 21:53

Don't worry I know how ill you are hunni within a minute of talking to you I'd got an ambulance on it's way out to you, stay with me holidays, stay on the line darling.

I was lying on my bed dying 4 days after I'd had my 3rd DC,I'd had a homebirth and the midwife had left alot of placenta inside me and my body was shutting down.

I never got to thank that lady for saving my life. Flowers

Scandie · 18/10/2018 21:56

“I love you.” By DP 2 months after we met. No one - including family - had ever Said that to me before.
