My mum gave my 7 year old a T-shirt (probably from charity shop, she's always picking up bits for the kids which is fine by me). It is a polo shirt type thing with one of those numbers and university sort of designs and then underneath says "A beer is a terrible thing to waste."

What a bizarre thing to put on a kids T-shirt. He was a bit bemused when my mum laughing, pointed it out to him. He doesn't drink beer, surprisingly enough, being 7 and all.

It is odd. I don't get the hilarity around booze though and I do drink.

Yeah, I wouldn't let my DS wear that out. It would be reserved for messy play indoors only!

DP and I bought his son a Tiger beer t-shirt back from Thailand. He loves it!

You think that's bad. I saw a little girl about 6 on the mrt (like the underground) in Singapore. She was wearing a t-shirt with a cartoon toaster and a cartoon slice of bread. The bread was saying: You're hot I want to be inside you. Now I know it will have been a cultural thing where no adult in the family will have got it either but crikey!
