I feel guilty ish. Mild hangover from a superb night last night, a meal, many cocktails and then dancing, brilliant. Friends stayed so I was up late and then up early to make cups of tea and toast.
Dh is a wonderful man but he can't sit around doing nothing so he's sorted all the washing, made lunch, is mowing the lawn at the moment then going shopping for dinner and going to the tip.

Then he'll cook dinner.

Im in pyjamas with both dogs asleep on me and I think that is all I can be arsed with today. I think I've achieved enough.

Am I the laziest bitch on mumsnet today?

Hope you feel better soon.

I do that with rebel Wilson films! Or anything directed by Judd Apatow. Good ill films!

I !am as jealous as hell of you Envy

I was walking dogs at 6.30 this morning (it was still DARK) and would give my eye teeth to get a lie in!

ellenanora5 · 08/10/2017 16:36

I think I'm on the sofa for two and a half hours now, I'm not dressed or showered, ds1 has just told me dinner will be ready at 5.15, I'm starving so looking forward to it.

Ds2 is disabled and ds1 has been taking care of him today, he's a trooper.

This thread has made my day! DH at work and I've done nothing but lie about all day reading about soaps and strictly, eating crap while the kids entertained themselves. They seem perfectly happy, too. Thinking of a takeaway for dinner. In my defence I'm pregnant, knackered and have sprained my ankle and foot after a week of 20000 steps a day on my fitbit! The healthy diet starts tomorrow again

PhelanGood · 08/10/2017 16:46

@Ellenanora your son sounds like a dream!

operaha · 08/10/2017 16:49

Phelan I've never had a thread make someone's day, im touched!
Sick of all you pregnant people justifying your laziness though, I have no excuse whatsoever, nothing at all. I'm just being a lazy fucker because I cant be arsed.

My brother just text and asked me if I want to go to the gym Grin Grin

Haha you're onto us! Tis fully a shameless excuse @operaha, I was actually even lazier before pregnancy. Feel obliged now to do acrobatic things like walk to n from the fridge occasionally, or change position on the sofa.. all for the baby's health 😉 are you gonna take up your bro on that gym invite? If it helps I am meant to have pregnancy yoga tonight n can't be fucked walking 45 mins to get there so not gonna bothet... Have already paid too!

operaha · 08/10/2017 17:00

Am I fuck going to the gym Grin cant believe he asked. He's doing sober October so he's being a right sanctimonious prick about it!!!

I'm with you op except I may be dying, I mixed drinks last night and now my head feels ready to explode Envydh is now recovered and being too fucking chirpy for my liking. He actually thinks I should go for a walk with him ! Not a fucking chance my pj's don't suit outdoors

operaha · 08/10/2017 17:05

thatsahairballnotabloodysweet my dh will ask me to walk dogs later considering I've not put a bra or pants on today it's fucking unlikely

Sounds perfectly fine to me! I'm currently sitting with glass no2 of wine in hand. Worked until 11pm last night so DH left me to sleep this morning. Got up at 10am, mooched about the house until about 12 then we all showered/washed and got dressed. DH took DD1 a walk to the local shops then dropped her at her friends to play. He then washed the van and my car. He's now in sorting dinner (pre-prepped by me!) whilst DD1 plays on the tablet and DD2 watches peppa. The whole time I've been sitting on mumsnet and drinking wine. I'm happy with this arrangement today Grin

Bluelonerose · 08/10/2017 17:23

I've had a lazy day too I have half cooked a Sunday dinner everyone can just pick what they want. It's not my turn to tidy up so I'm on the sofa in pjs with a cuppa and chocolate cake Grin

operaha · 08/10/2017 18:05

He's now walking the dogs. I responded to his asking me if I'd like to go with "I'm not wearing pants and will have failed in my challenge to be as lazy as possible today if I put any on". He seemed fine with this.

I'm a lucky woman. He's changed the bed sheets today too so I'll get fed and then can just dump myself in a fresh bed nice and early!

Thanks PhelanGood Smile he's very good, it's only the three of us for years now so we're like a well oiled machine, he works fulltime but is a huge help to me when he's off.

Hope you get your takeaway, no point spoiling a good lazy day by cooking Grin

operaha, I like your style, stay exactly where you are.

operaha · 08/10/2017 18:29

Ok I've reached new heights.

So earlier dh took a break and we watched the latest cold feet. He said "oh is Karen an alcoholic" and of course I pulled this face Confused and said "errr yeah for like 20 years" and he confessed he'd not watched the original.

So I've just looked to see if it's on Netflix, it isn't and I'm huffing and complaining now because I do in fact own it on dvd, it's just in another room and I don't want to go and get it.

I'll try YouTube

Omg you could be me (except my hangover is immense!)
Enjoy

Marmite27 · 08/10/2017 18:34

DH has worked all weekend and I’d still be in my pjs if it wasn’t for the over the road neighbours having some kind of Asian wedding celebration this morning (I’m totally ignorant but it involved the groom and drums) as me and DD went out to dance in the garden and join in the celebrations and wave them off. We’ve watched lots of Disney movies (apart from when she was napping and I snuck a couple of episodes of prison break in) and we’ve just had a lazy tea. Pie, chips and mushy peas.

Bath time for the little one soon, then that’s where I’m headed when she’s in bed.

operaha · 08/10/2017 18:38

5 series to watch. He's gonna be so happy when he gets back with the dogs!! Maybe. I think he actually just tolerates me, im a nightmare Grin
