DP and I have been trying to lose weight and so far I've lose 9lbs!

DP wants a KFC tonight as a treat. We've gone from having 3 take aways a week to none. It's been 5 weeks now since our last.

AIBU to have one? Would it ruin everything I'm worked hard for so far? Or is one occasional treat allowed? 😫

Have one. I found having the occasional treat here and there stopped me binge eating when I was dieting.

I've got no willpower so I wouldn't. I'd fall off the wagon spectacularly and in no time I'd be back to 3 times a week.

However, you are probably far stronger, so crack on!

What did you do Op ?

I lost five stone reasonably easily and I had one take-away or a meal out once a week.

It kept me going and I was still getting good losses weekly. You have to eat a LOT of calories over your maintenance calories to put on a pound, not going to happen with one meal. The only danger is if it makes you want to carry on eating junk. For me, I looked forward to that meal but afterwards I felt more sluggish and looked forward to eating healthier again the next day.

I'd absolutely have done it.

I hope you did it. Now I want a 3 piece combo, badly. One fast food meal won't make you fat, same as one salad won't make you skinny

I could think of something far nicer than a KFC ! I can't stand even the smell of KFC !

Ive not had a kfc in about 3yrs but im looking forward to trying the double down burger it looks good
