To not give a toss about my neighbours chakra?!

My neighbour has millions of wind chimes in her garden which are important to her chakra.
On a windy day it's like the annual meeting of bell ringers congregating from across the land!
Can't cope.

I had to ask a previous neighbour to take down her wind chimes because I suffer with migraines and they were a trigger. She was more than happy to do so.

However, with the bullshitchakra excuse, that probably isn't going to work.

Which chakra does she claim the wind chimes are helping? I'd suggest she gets some crystals instead, then she can just feel their vibrational energy cleansing her third eye or whatever. Grin

YANBU. Wind chimes are a fucking curse on humanity! In a previous home, I had to ask a neighbour to take them down from the bottom of her garden as although they were 50 feet from her house, they were only 12-13 feet from my bedroom because of the way the houses (and gardens,) were arranged.

She was mortified to hear they had been bothering me, and took them down at 9pm every night, then replaced them at 3pm when she came from work.

Have you told the neighbour how you feel?

VanillaSugar · 06/10/2017 06:48

Pampas grass. Just saying.

SavoyCabbage · 06/10/2017 06:55

I almost wept when my neighbours got wind chimes. They are just awful. They were selling them in IKEA this summer so I'm surprised everyone hasn't got the bastard things.

"Pampas grass. Just saying."

VanillaSugar, pineapple door knockers, too, I'm reliably informed.

fairyofallthings · 06/10/2017 07:21

We have wind chimes in our garden, we take them down when we go on holiday and when it's windy so most of the year then Your neighbours are being inconsiderate.

VanillaSugar · 06/10/2017 07:24

🍍Shock

Fluffyears · 06/10/2017 07:59

Wind chimes are so stupid people know it’s windy.

boysarebackintown2 · 06/10/2017 08:02

I haven't said anything yet as we've not long moved in and on one meeting with her DH commented on her 'lovely chimes'. Idiot.

Maybe an offering of pampas grass in exchange for taking them down?

Wind chimes scare me because of their over use in horror films. The sound now creeps me out.
