Do people really do this a lot? What does it involve? I can't imagine willingly taking a naked picture of myself (pouting??) and sending it to my husband/partner/random off Tinder. I've also never opened a text to find a flaccid penis sitting there. Or erect I suppose. It really worries me that in the future my small children will think photographing your bits (I can't actually believe sane grown ups do this) and texting them to someone is normal social interaction. I feel like a dinosaur sometimes. I'm pretty sure nobody I know does this. But then again, I've never actually asked...maybe they're all at it? It just seems so dangerous - and nasty. AIBU?

Considering both DH and my phones are both passcode and fingerprint locked, so can't be accessed just by being charged, and the fact that neither of us have the cloud enabled as backup, I think we'll be fine

pp2017 There's no need for the attitude; a lot of people are unaware that snaps can be saved, and without their knowledge. You could quite easily have been one of them, particularly from the implication in your post.

pp2017 Well yes, it is a rather serious matter if people aren't aware that the nudes they send can be saved without their knowledge.

Like I said, I'm all for them, but people do need to be know the ins and outs of apps like SnapChat if they're going to use them.

I don't give a shiny shit what people send to their partners, what I did find uncomfortable was someone I know through a family member has full sized pictures of herself from an explicit boudoir photoshoot hung up all over her house!
When you walk down the stairs there is one on the wall next to you so you have her digitally printed minge in your face,
There is no where to look without seeing these images, I can't imagine what her kids friends think on play dates.
