Moved to London and between my job (nanny) and moving I haven't had time to try and make friends.(not that I know how to) people seem to make friends so easily and I'm not sure how. My life consists of children and sleep.

You could make freinds with other nannies? If the children are preschool age you'll bump into other nannies at toddler groups etc. Could also see if your employer has friends with nannies that you could meet up with.
