That's it really; I am two weeks late and growing more and more worried because no AF has happened and I've done two tests that came back BFN.

I have been in a really loving relationship for a year and DP would support me; plus I am 32, so not in a terrible position.

However, the timing is terrible, I wanted to be married before any babies happened and I have just started an amazing new job.

I'm a musician that had a mad September, so I am wondering if my crazy schedule could have harmed my cycle.

Could I please ask for some words of wisdom? Have any of you missed a period for a reason other than pregnancy

Have you lost a lot of weight recently?

I don't want to worry you but I did two tests that came back negative before the third which showed BFP .........

You can still be married before having a child even if you are pregnant now. Flowers

I may have lost a little with the gigging but not a lot. I am a size ten.

Oh dear. This really would not be the right time. Doing another test.

Are you using contraception? (Assuming you're not on the pill) could you have ovulated late? Stress can delay ovulation causing a late period. To be fair, two weeks is long enough so go to your GP though.

Just did another test and it is negative. Two weeks late is enough to go to the GP, I agree.

I will make an appointment today.

Stress could be a factor. I moved in with DP and started a new job in August and then spent many weekends gigging, playing quite a few festivals.

I had the worst year of my life last year where ex-DP left suddenly, I lost my home, got asked to leave a band and almost lost my job. My dad then died very suddenly in December to top it all off.

I have reached a place where I am feeling a bit more secure again

I have ASD and am a bit of a young 32, I think. More like 25 in terms of development, hence why my posts might seem a little immature Smile

Unusual to be 2 weeks late and still get a bfn if you are pregnant. The over the counter pregnancy tests you get now are really sensitive and can show up bfp's after a day or 2 of being late. My gp said they are also far more sensitive then the ones they use. Could you have your dates wrong? To me it sounds like just a delayed af due to busy schedule or stress. I think it would be very unusual to be getting a bfn on a pregnancy test 14 days late on your af

Good points but I was due on the 15th. Usually would have been due on the 13th but I was a little late last month too.

Oddly enough, I had a little bit of mid cycle bleeding in the first week of September and had experienced that the month before also. Sometimes I go through phases where that happens.

Bodies are strange.

I just wish I knew what was going on. Its very unsettling not knowing what is going on. Still no AF.
