Hi, just wondering is anyone has been to Leicester square theatre with children as I wondered where is best to sit. This will be out first time to the west end ever so a big deal to us and want to get it right! Front row is available... Thanks in advance

Never buy tickets for any West End show without visiting the genius site that is THEATREMONKEY which gives you opinions on good seats, average seats, bad seats etc.

Generally, at most theatres, I would never sit younger/smaller children in a front row as they will be having to strain their necks almost vertically to look up at the stage.

Is it in the main auditorium?
I've not been in ages but remember it had comfy seats despite being a bit rough.

Theatremonkey is always useful for seating info.

Front row

I was there last night! And went to see Tiddler recently with my 3 year old. I tend to sit by an aisle on row G/H as I like to be able to nip out to the loo, however the view is better in the middle. There are plentiful booster seats for kids so they can see well. If your child doesn’t like hand driers, the loos are a bit much; tiny, tiny and full of dysons. When I saw Tiddler it wasn’t even a third full.

Thanks everyone! Will have a look now! They are only small so I worried about them straining looking up so wondered what the stage was like there! Thanks again

I thought the front row was very close to the stage.

Thank you. The website says the front row shouldn't give anyone neck ache... mine are only 3 so v small. I guess pros of front row is no one tall blocking view but I'm worried being so small they will have neck ache!

Sunshine Generally, a comment saying "shouldn't give anyone neck ache" will be based on the assumption of it being an adult patron. So I would still be wary, personally.

Thanks everyone. The only rows left are front or one row from back. Think I'm going to plump for front and hope for the best!! It's not too expensive as a children's play thing so hopefully be ok! Thanks again!
