I'm always conflicted about this.

My feminist head says that he and Blair have a toxic relationship and he tries to rape both Jenny and Serena early in the show.

But my heart really loves him, and can totally be sucked into the dramatic angst of his relationship with Blair.

I think its about time for a GG board...

I would rather have a thread about who Gossip Girl is actually, because considering what GG does and to who would it even be possible for that person to be that person?! You can't rewatch it with that knowledge and not be appalled, and yet they get a happy ending? Still haven't come to terms with it, don't know if I ever will...

@JemimaLovesHamble that's what I am doing now and also it just doesn't make sense a lot of the time when blasts are about them and damaging or physically where that person is, how are they sending that blast?!

Apparently the actress who played Dorota thought that she would turn out to be Gossip Girl and even that would have made more sense than who it actually is.

I think for it to be who it turned out to be calls for a diagnosis of psychopathy for that person. It's just totally illogical.

GG is definitely a sociopath. I have a theory that they had other characters go back to bad habits right at the end before the reveal so that it was like "hey, they're all as bad as each other! They deserve each other because they are horrible people!"

Pretty Little Liars has a worse final reveal though. It's sort of redeemed GG by virtue of being so bad

Totally agree with the PP who love Blair's wardrobe and apartment. The show makes NYC look so gorgeous too. May I recommend the NY Mag Vulture recaps of GG?
