The couple next door (we have an adjoining wall) argue violently, she throws things around screaming. They have two little girls in that small 2 bedroom house, plus a dog. I hear him trying to pacify her, she just gets more and more loud. He yells back too. I don't know what they are arguing about. I feel for the little girls, 5 &7 approx as my dad & mum were both violent to the point of hospitalisation.

I politely asked once, as it was the afternoon, I called into the doorway "is everything okay?" and man said, "oh yes I was just looking for the dog" but one of the little girls ran out crying.

Its never happened since in the afternoon only late at night now.

WWYD I certainly don't want to stick my nose in other peoples business but it distresses us & I don't deserve to hear, worry or think about this. Would asking a social worker to visit be out of order??
