to think I'm not too old to start learning how to ride a unicycle?

I'm in my mid 20s, and have always been fascinated by them. Finally saw a Kris Holm and a Nimbus in my local shop today and I think this is my time!

Few questions:

  1. Has anyone successfully learnt to ride one as an adult? (Bear in mind I'm not really the fittest person out there)
  2. How would a 20" and a 24"/26" compare? (Mainly will be using it to go around the town/park/etc)

I'd ask the shop but as their primary goal is sales I'm not sure how accurate of an answer I'd get!

I've been on one as an adult. And fallen off one as an adult. They are really bloody difficult to get the hang of. Have you ever tried it?

I dont know if they are really practical around towns and parks, how would you brake? (Geniuine question, i know nothing about unicycles)
But i dont think you ever too old to do learn something as long as you feel capable.

Why don't you see if there is a local community circus skills group near you? We have one round here and you can go for a few quid a session (£5?), use their equipment and get taught how to do it. Then you can see if you get on with a unicycle, and have tutors on hand to help.
