To think my whole family are gaslighting me? *Lighthearted* (maybe)

Every single time I use my downstairs loo the toilet roll is always on the holder with the tissue facing the wall.

There is me, DH and two teens here, DD may possibly change the roll when empty, DS probably never so only 3 of us change it, usually being me and DH.

I mentioned to DH a few months ago that the roll needs to be put on the holder with the tissue facing outwards, not towards the wall but EVERY time since I find it facing the wall.

Now, the laws of averages tell me that there is a 50% chance of it being either way. I have deduced that I am therefore, being gaslighted and DH is taking delight in making sure it's on the wrong way.

Anyone agree?

Sounds like he's equally convinced that it needs to be his way. your way is right though

Whoever changes the roll chooses the direction.

I couldn't care less which way it faces, I do care about it being replaced when empty.

There's someone in this house who keeps putting it on the wrong way round. I change it and they don't feel the need to change it back so it's obviously just to mess with me...[hmmm]

LTB 😁

My husband does this too. Drives me bonkers!

My daughter does this and thinks it's hilarious!
She says she doesn't know it's on the wrong way until she 'unsticks' it but I say that it should always look like it's being offered to you!
We have a holder that you just slip the roll on (no removable bit that you have to click in) so not any effort at all to just turn it round (my job apparently)
