AIBU to just want my hair cut!?

I had DD2 2 months ago and in that time my regular hairdresser has left the salon so I was booked in with her replacement yesterday for a cut and blow dry.

My hair is in good condition, thick and relatively well behaved when blow dried not a boast; my hair frowns just as thick everywhere else too!. My old hairdresser used to ask me the routine questions (holidays, weekend plans, idle chit chat) and I'd be in and out in 45 minutes.

Yesterday I spent more than 45 minutes turning down offers to buy every product under the sun (£14 shampoo- seriously!), explaining I don't want to book in for a Brazilian blow dry because I don't need it, convincing her that a blow dry was fine and I didn't want my hair poker straight with her straighteners and then having to look like a twonk when she made a 6minute long video on my phone of what she'd done with the cut and all the products she used I was caught off guard on that and couldn't lie I didn't have a phone because I'd been fiddling with it. When I got out I felt relieved rather than relaxed!

Am I the only one who only wants to go to he hairdresser to have their hair cut without the sales pitch and other nonsense!?

The pushing of the shampoo etc is standard, I just politely decline then go next door to pound world to get mine. The phone thing is a bit weird, I wouldn't let a virtual stranger go poking around in my pictures and stuff.
