AIBU - £2 for 60 baby wipes is not a 'special offer'

Grrr, asked DH to pick up some Huggies Pure Baby wipes. He has come back with four packets of Water wipes (£2 per pack) because they were on special offer! Surely he should be able to compare prices by now and realise that you can buy other brands for half this amount of money!

And to make matters worse he said he tried to ring me to check and I didn't answer. I checked my phone and there were no missed calls. He obviously didn't have a signal!

He is a lovely man but clueless when it comes to shopping (and mobile phones)

£2 is a good price for water wipes though Grin

Water wipes are closer to £3

We regularly buy water wipes or Jackson Reece for baby. Around £1.50/£2 a pack. It's one of the few branded things we buy.

It's a good price for water wipes, I prefer these to other wipes and I cannot stand Huggies wipes.

So yes it's a good offer for them but not if your are comparing it to cheaper alternatives.
