Hi
Can I please have some suggestions...I need to buy around 30 gifts...they are thank you gifts for people I have worked with. My budget is around £7 per person...I know you can't do much with £7 but I just really want to show my appreciation as everyone has been so kind and helped me in what ever way they can.
Any suggestions would be appreciated :-)

Id buy a couple boxes of chocolate for the work place and that be it it.

goodnessidontknow · 13/09/2017 07:03

Bottle of wine, if you're buying that volume you should get a reasonable bottle for that price.

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 13/09/2017 07:03

There's always a box of chocolates on offer in marks for £3-4
Wine fits in that budget as does a small bunch of flowers

shakingmyhead1 · 13/09/2017 07:04

get on ebay and buy some disco beads and findings and make the females necklaces and for the guys ali express buy some keyrings maybe? along with hand made cards to make it more personal?

I'd buy something joint. A coffee machine for the staffroom (would have to be PAT tested) or loads of cakes and food. Always goes down well.

ifherbumwereabungalow · 13/09/2017 07:06

A couple of boxes of Krispy Kremes always go down well.

roses2 · 13/09/2017 07:08

Look on Amazon, plenty of gifts around the £7 price point. E.g. toiletries, body butter.

m&s also have lovely biscuits and chocolates in this price range.

I'd go for one nice item each rather than two cheap items.

HaudYerWheeshtBawbag · 13/09/2017 07:09

Why would you buy per person? I need more context

Bluntness100 · 13/09/2017 07:12

To be fair, I'd also just come in laden with cakes, muffins and donuts.

MirandaWest · 13/09/2017 07:13

I thought you were going to say you had £7 in total for 30 people

coffeekittens · 13/09/2017 07:14

Chocolates, biscuits and wine. A nice selection and something for everyone then

WaxyBean · 13/09/2017 07:21

Don't do anything too personal for that number of people - you'll look like you are trying too hard and set an unreasonable expectation for future leavers. Either a big gift to share (coffee machine a great idea), something impersonal each (small box of chops or mini bottle of champagne each) or just trays of food and drink on your last day (or first drink each at your leaving do!).

bimbobaggins · 13/09/2017 07:21

Another one asking why per person for 30 people.? Can you not buy a joint gift?
I know you haven't said you were worried about the cost but that's £210
I'm sure people would be happy with a few boxes of chocs or cakes to share, it would be like a feeding frenzy in my work

Cailleach666 · 13/09/2017 07:22

Yes OP- why individual presents?

Seems a bit odd for a workplace to buy 30 individual gifts.
I would second the crispy Cremes, half a dozen big boxes.

sooperdooper · 13/09/2017 07:23

Don't buy individual presents, it's not worth it - get a load of cakes, biscuits for the office

AtHomeDadGlos · 13/09/2017 07:23

7 £1 scratch cards

Bellaposy · 13/09/2017 07:24

Krispey Kremes are a good shout. I one got a free box of about two dozen and brought them in to work. I've never seen grown adults move so quickly.

MrsOverTheRoad · 13/09/2017 07:31

OP never specified the people were in an office or indeed in the same place...if they're not then she'll want an individual thing each.

OP what about a little pot plant each in a nice pot?

WomblingThree · 13/09/2017 07:33

I'm not being harsh, but no one is going to be grateful for 30 identical bits of "stuff". It doesn't show much thought, rather that you felt you had to do something (and why would you feel like you had to give them leaving gifts, surely it would be the other way round?).

Being the woman who brought in the massive pile of donuts? You will go down in company history. If you think of it as £210, there's a hell of a lot you can do with that, that will benefit everyone.

MrsOverTheRoad · 13/09/2017 07:35

Wombling but OP never said the people were all in the same building...they could be people she's worked with in all kinds of situations.

Not always an office.

mummmy2017 · 13/09/2017 07:35

Sorry but why that many gifts, you can't be on best buddy terms with them all.
For £210 you can make the place a great bundle gift, and not spend all of that cash, it seems excessive.
If you have a big staff room why not replace the kettle's and buy in Coffee and Tea and Sugar, for a month.

PippaSqueaks · 13/09/2017 07:35

You should have a little office party with some food and drink. You say your thanks and you also have a chance to socialise one last time.

00100001 · 13/09/2017 07:39

I wouldn't buy anything.

I certainly wouldn't spend over £200 on work people that I am 99% unlikely to ever see again.

If I was being generous, I might stretch to a tin of chocolates like celebrations or something.

AtSea1979 · 13/09/2017 07:41

Clearly it's not an office and the OP works in the community or something.
I'd be more tempted to get a thank you card and a fiver saying have a drink on me.
