I know, so much wrong with that. Chicken with pasta? Bleurgh. And boiled potatoes on the side?

EdmundCleverClogs · 12/09/2017 03:28

It all sounds rather horrible, like a throwback recipe from the 70s. However

Chicken with pasta?

One of my favourite comfort foods is chicken and mushroom pasta in thick cheese sauce Blush. I wouldn't serve it to others though, and even a someone who's known to double (even triple) carb, boiled potatoes with pasta is a big no-no!

MrsOverTheRoad · 12/09/2017 03:32

Chicken and pasta is fine but with POTATOES too!??

NO!

ballestief · 12/09/2017 03:35

I think chicken and pasta is a very English thing. I'm half Italian and have never see it there, it seems wrong.
If you like it you like it though!

Not even fettuccine alfredo with chicken?

EssentialHummus · 12/09/2017 03:51

Yeah, it's not great. Would that it were the worst thing about her.

ballestief · 12/09/2017 03:52

Noooo! Fettucine alfredo is really just fettucine al burro but richer, and is much more an american thing than Italian.

I just googled that and the only recipes with chicken are either american or in spanish.
